Itinerary
After arrival proceed direct to Sinharaja. Full day visit Singharaja Rainforest, looking for wildlife in wet lowland forest: birds, mammals, reptiles, butterflies and other wildlife, including endemics species.
Overnight stay at a forest lodge in Sinharaja.

Morning final visit to the Sinharaja rainforest and birding in the forest till afternoon. In the forest looking for rainforest birds including endemics those missed on previous day; and also butterflies, forest mammals and other wildlife.

Morning visit Udawalawa National Park consisting grassland and forest in dry climatic conditions. Looking for wildlife in dry forest, open country and grassland: mammals, reptiles, birds, butterflies and other wildlife, including some endemics species; looking for wild animals including herds of wild Asian Elephants, Golden Jackal, Agamid Lizards, Monitor Lizards, etc., and leave for Thissamaharama. Check in to the hotel at lunch time (One and half hours’ drive).
Aftersafari drive in Yala National Park consisting wetlands, scrublands and forest in dry climatic conditions, looking for waterbirds, shorebirds, coastal seabirds, dry open country, forest and nocturnal birds, butterflies and other wildlife.
Overnight stay at Hotel in Thissamaharama.

Morning leave for Nuwara Eliya in the high hills. Check in at a hotel in Nuwara Eliya by lunch time, for two nights. Evening visit Victoria Park in town looking for Indian Pitta, Pied Thrush, Kashmir Flycatcher and some highland endemic birds.

Morning visit to Horton Plains National Park consists of Grasslands and montane forest in higher cool climatic conditions. Looking for wildlife in highland forest: mammals, reptiles, birds, butterflies and other wildlife, including endemics species; looking for interesting animals such as Sambar Deer, highland monkeys, horn lizards, etc. Also experience a unique, picturesque scenery of hill forest interspaced with grasslands and a vertical shear drop from a mountain top known as ‘World’s End’.
After lunch drive to Kitulgala.
