Planning your wildlife journey

Practical answers before you set off.

How do I book?
Start with an enquiry through the website, email or phone. Tell us the tour or destination you are considering, your dates and group size. We will provide the itinerary, availability, price and booking conditions before you confirm.

Can you arrange a private tour?
Yes. We can discuss an itinerary around your interests, target species, dates and preferred pace. Private arrangements are available for individuals, couples, families and your own group.

Can I join a group?
Contact us for current 2027 departure plans and available places. We will explain the route, expected pace and practical requirements so you can decide whether it is right for you.

Do I need birding or photography experience?
Experience requirements vary between trips. Tell us your background and goals, and we will recommend a suitable programme. Specialist expeditions may involve demanding conditions or long periods of observation.

Are sightings guaranteed?
No. Wildlife is free-ranging and conditions change. Your guide will use local knowledge and field experience to give you worthwhile opportunities while respecting animals and habitats.

What accommodation is included?
Accommodation depends on the programme and can include hotels, lodges, guesthouses or ger camps. Your written proposal will specify the arrangements and any facilities or comfort limitations relevant to the trip.

Are flights and visas included?
Check the inclusions in your proposal. We can provide general planning guidance, but you are responsible for ensuring you have the required travel documents. Domestic and international flights are not automatically included.

Can I change or cancel my booking?
Contact the team as soon as possible. Changes depend on availability and may incur supplier charges. Cancellation and refund conditions are set out in your booking documents and our refund policy.

What happens if conditions change?
We may recommend route or activity adjustments because of weather, access or wildlife movements. The team will explain the available alternatives and any practical implications.

What should I bring?
Ask for advice specific to your itinerary. Useful items commonly include binoculars, suitable camera equipment, spare batteries, comfortable field clothing and footwear, and protection suited to the climate. Remote or mountain trips require more specialised preparation.
