CHA Nature Travels was founded by Charuka Abhayawickrama to share the wildlife encounters, local knowledge and trusted connections gathered through years of travelling with a camera and a target list. Born in Sri Lanka and based in Australia, Charuka brings a personal understanding of both the destination and the traveller’s perspective.

Our journeys connect you with specialist local guides across Sri Lanka, Thailand, India and Mongolia. From quiet rainforest trails to remote mountain valleys, the aim is to spend meaningful time with wildlife and give each destination the attention it deserves.
