YOUR TIME IN THE FIELD
The itinerary.
Day 1Chiang Mai to Doi Ang Khang and Fang
Depart your hotel at approximately 5 am and travel towards Doi Ang Khang. Explore suitable birding areas on the way before continuing to Fang, where you will check into your accommodation. The drive takes approximately three hours, excluding stops.
Day 2A full day at Doi Lang
Begin early with breakfast and head out for a full day of birding at Doi Lang. Explore the available forest and open habitats with your guide, with lunch and refreshments during the excursion. Return to Fang for the night.
Day 3Doi Lang and return to Chiang Mai
After breakfast, spend another morning and early afternoon birding at Doi Lang. Revisit promising sites and work on your remaining targets before leaving at approximately 3 pm for the drive back to your Chiang Mai hotel.

Programme exclusions
Airfares.
Extra meals, soft drinks not in meal time, alcoholic beverages (hard liquor), telephone call / fax / email and laundry charges.
Video and still camera permit charges if and where necessary.
Visits to cultural or any other sites that are not included/indicated in the itinerary.
Personal tipping to porters, restaurant people, park guides, jeep drivers, tour vehicle driver and local tour leader.
Wildlife sightings depend on season, weather and animal movements. The final route, accommodation, inclusions and 2027 price will be confirmed in your written proposal.
